"Give Thanks for Christmas," Student Saturday, Nursing Home Performance!

On 11-23-24, Hannah Adhikari brought some of her Students to perform a "Give Thanks for Christmas," recital for the residents of Windsor at Plantaition Pointe Retirement Community. Hannah performed "Chaconne in F Minor" by Johann Pachelbel and her own composition, "Gratitude, a wordless psalm." On 4-20-24, Hannah Adhikari brought some of her Students to perform a "Spring Performance," recital for the residents of Windsor at Plantaition Pointe Retirement Community. Hannah performed "Waltz in A Minor Op. 34 No. 2" by Frederic Chopin. There was a game to count how many of the beginning motifs Chopin snuck in this waltz! Her Students also performed hymns, classical pieces, and folk tunes, some arranged by Hannah.

Hannah Adhikari is a member of MMTA music association for teachers in Mississippi. MMTA held their local Honors Recital where Hannah participated in working behind the scenes. Held in April of 2023. Hannah won the prestigious Willanna Buck Mallett Music Scholarship from the Chaminade Club and performed in their 2021 Virtual Concert featuring one of her compositions, "Left Hand Prelude: Plea to Sing".

Lisa Harpole Heath was Hannah's piano teacher from August of 2010 to August of 2018. Sadly, she passed away after fighting Cancer for the second time in 2021. She will always be Hannah's inspiration for the Love of Music!
