Piano Studio Christmas Recital 2024

A selection of Hannah's Piano Studio will play her own Christmas arrangements as well as other beautiful Christmas favorites. Hannah Adhikari will play "Deck the Halls" as a recital surprise. An Event for Students and their friends and family.

"Hymns with Hannah," Nursing Home Tours. - All 2024 Events

Tour 10 -

When: November 23rd, @10:30am.

Where: The Windsor at Plantation Pointe nursing home Columbus, MS.

Hannah and her Students performed their "Give Thanks for Christmas," program. Hannah's Students played Christmas, Hymn, and folk tune favorites, while Hannah played "Chaconne" by Johann Pachelbel and her own piano solo "Gratitude, a wordless psalm." They began with a "Hark the Herald" sing-along and ended with a "God is so Good," sing-along.

Tour 6 -

When: April 20th, 2024. 

Where: 81 Windsor Blvd, Columbus, MS 39702.

Hannah and her Students performed a Spring program for the Residents of Windsor at Plantation Point Nursing Home. Some of Hannah's Students will play her compositions and Hannah will play Chopin's "Waltz in A Minor Op. 34, No. 2."

Hannah Adhikari improvised on Hymns by various artists and perform her piano solo "When You're Lonely," and the World Premiere of her newest piano solo, "Impromptu No. 1." She will also perform her arrangement of "Ode to Joy" by Beethoven.

New Music at the W

October 29th @7:30pm. Hannah was personally invited by the Music Department to play at the Mississippi University for Women's New Music Concert at Poindexter Hall in Columbus, MS. Hannah played her newest piano solo, "Gratitude, a wordless psalm."

Fall Musicale

October 5th @9:30am. Colleugue and friend, Katie Johnson, hosted a morning concert for any local piano studios or teachers to play in front of Renesant Bank in Starkville, MS. Hannah played the World Premiere of her newest piano solo, "Gratitude, a wordless psalm."

Set of 3 NACUSA Concerts

September 28th @11am. NACUSA hosted a morning concert at the Columbus Arts Council in Columbus, MS. Hannah played the World Premiere of her "Preludes for the Left Hand. I. Plea to Sing,  II. Finding My Voice,  and  III. Music Speaks." She also played a piano solo written by fellow NACUSA Composer, Dr. Richard Montalto, entitled "Passacaglia."

September 28th @2pm. NACUSA hosted an afternoon concert at the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. Hannah played her "Preludes for the Left Hand. I. Plea to Sing,  II. Finding My Voice,  and  III. Music Speaks." She also played a piece by fellow NACUSA Composer, Dr. Richard Montalto, called Passacaglia.

September 28th @5pm. NACUSA hosted an evening concert at Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Hannah's soundfile piece "A Day in College Life," and the World Premiere of her soundfile "Over Time, a soundfile of memories," were played at the concertShe also played a piano solo written by fellow NACUSA Composer, Dr. Richard Montalto, entitled "Passacaglia."

May 25th @3pm. A selection of Hannah's Piano Studio will play her own compositions or arrangements as well as other beautiful Spring Classics and Hymn Favorites. Hannah Adhikari also played the "Minute Waltz" in Db Major by Chopin. An Event for Students and their friends and family.

Sunday Service Concert

When: March 17th, 2024. @10:30am

Where: Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus, MS.

Hannah Adhikari and her church choir performed the World Premiere of her piece, "Not Unto Us," the Choral Version. It is written based off of the Bible verses, Psalm 115:1, 9, 11-12.

Music by Women Festival: Concert No. 6

When: March 8th, 2024. @10am.

Where: Kossen Auditorium at the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS.

Hannah Adhikari's "Left Hand Preludes. I. Plea to Sing, II. Finding My Voice, + III. Music Speaks." was programmed. However, Hannah was unable to perform due to sickness. The progression of composing these Left Hand Preludes is through Hannah's emotional response in processing her Right Hand injury in 2021.

Music by Women Festival: Concert No. 4 

When: March 7th, 2024. @5pm.

Where: Kossen Auditorium at the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS.

Hannah Adhikari's vocal solo, "Because You Were Here," was performed by Dr. William Reber on the piano and Dr. Susan Hurley as first soprano voice. This work was commissioned by Susan Hurley to commemorate her uncle's poetry for the Phoenix AIDS Quilt Songbook.

Serena Scibelli performed Hannah Adhikari's Violin solo, "Around Me," at the Research of Contemporary Composition Conference. The Program for "Around Me" is located on page 10 during Session VIII of the Conference Schedule below.

Hannah E. Adhikari Senior Recital

When: April 23, 2022

Where: Mississippi University for Women Columbus, MS.

Among other Classical works by Beethoven, Debussy, and Scarlatti, Hannah Heaton Adhikari also performed her piano solo, "Before You Leave," and her "Left Hand Prelude, "I. Plea to Sing," at her Senior Piano Recital in April 2022.
